I’m a self taught artist, with a passion for art as a young child. When I was young, I spent much time drawing at home, at school. Any chance I had, you would see me with my pen and drawing book, drawing people and all of my favorite cartoons. When I moved to Hawaii in my early 20’s, by chance I started to work in a henna kiosk. I figured since I could look at cartoons and copy them, the job could be easy. Through working with henna, my line art and symmetry skills flourished tenfold over the years. After some time, I looked to expand my skills and delved into digital art and taught myself how to use drawing apps. With an eagerness for learning and leveling up, I got into painting with acrylics and watercolors and took some basic classes to learn how to mix colors. Nowadays, I continue to do henna but I am seeking new opportunities to do more with my art. The learning never ends!
